Red & White Oak Flooring
Red Oak and White Oak are two of the most popular choices for floors today as well as hardwood floors in general. Red Oak tends to be slightly softer than White Oak, with Red Oak grain often being stronger and more dramatic than White Oak. While Red Oak has long been the most widely used species for commodity hardwood floors, many people choosing a wide plank hardwood floor will go with White Oak simply because it offer a different look from Red Oak.
